A new leak has revealed the design of the upcoming Xiaomi Poco C85, which is expected to launch very soon. The phone has already passed certifications in the UAE, Thailand, Indonesia, and even the USA (FCC). It’s actually a rebadged version of the Redmi 15C.
New Look, Familiar Feel
The Xiaomi Poco C85 ditches the old circular camera design. Instead, it now comes with a square camera bump that includes two cameras, an LED flash, and a label that reads “50MP AI Camera.”
The POCO branding is printed at the bottom, along with the model name in a stylish font. The front side of the phone shows a display with a notch and a thick chin, similar to the older Xiaomi Poco C75.
Simple But Functional Build
You’ll find just one speaker at the bottom, next to a USB-C port, a microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The top of the phone is plain with no extra openings.
Color Options
According to the leak, the phone will come in Black, Mint, and Purple colors.
Display & Performance
The Xiaomi Poco C85 may have a 6.9-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. That means smoother scrolling and better animations. The screen could reach up to 810 nits brightness, making it easy to use indoors or outdoors.
Under the hood, it might pack the Helio G81 Ultra chip – the same as last year – but the new model has better power features.
Big Battery, Faster Charging
The battery size is boosted to 6000mAh, up from 5160mAh. Charging gets an upgrade too – from 18W to 33W fast charging. That means less time plugged in and more time on the go!
Water Resistance Added
Good news – the Xiaomi Poco C85 might be IP64-rated, making it resistant to splashes and dust. That’s a new feature compared to the older model.
