The Xiaomi 16 series isn’t official yet, but new leaks are giving us an exciting sneak peek. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station just shared some fresh details, and things are looking great for Xiaomi fans!
Triple 50MP Camera Setup – The Xiaomi 16 might come with three 50MP cameras on the back. The main sensor is said to be a large 1/1.3-inch 50MP lens. The other two lenses will likely be ultrawide and telephoto, both also at 50MP. The telephoto lens may even double as a macro camera for close-up shots.
Big Battery Boost – A huge upgrade could be coming to the battery. Reports say it may pack a massive 6500mAh battery, which is much bigger than the 5400mAh in the Xiaomi 15.
New Display & Design – Up front, we might get a 6.3-inch flat OLED screen with ultra-slim bezels and a small punch-hole camera. Leaks also show a fresh design with a two-tone back and rearranged camera layout.
Runs Android 16 + HyperOS 3.0 – The phone is expected to launch with Android 16 and Xiaomi’s own HyperOS 3.0, bringing new features and smooth performance.
Supercharged with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 – Xiaomi 16 may be one of the first phones to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, launching this September. This new chip promises a 25% CPU speed boost with powerful Oryon cores, plus 30% better graphics and new LPDDR6 RAM.
