Vivo Y50 5G Launched Budget 5G Phone with Big Battery!

Vivo has added a new phone to its Y series – meet the Vivo Y50 5G! It’s an affordable smartphone that brings 5G support without costing a fortune. While it cuts corners on the camera and display, it makes up for it with solid performance and a massive battery.

Fast Chip, Budget Price

The Vivo Y50 5G runs on the Dimensity 6300 chip, which is quite powerful for its price. Thanks to this chip, you get fast performance and 5G connectivity at a low cost.

Display & Design

The phone has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, making scrolling feel smooth. However, the screen only reaches 570 nits brightness, so it may be hard to see outdoors in sunlight. It also has a notch for the selfie camera and a thick chin at the bottom.

Vivo Y50 5G Cameras – Nothing Fancy

The camera setup is very basic. On the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera. On the back, you get a 13MP main camera with a tiny 0.08MP helper sensor. It’s good enough for simple shots, but not ideal for camera lovers.

Huge Battery with Fast Charging

One of the best things about the Vivo Y50 5G is its battery. It packs a huge 6000mAh battery that can last up to two days for light users. Plus, it supports 44W fast charging, so you won’t be stuck charging for hours.

Water Protection & Software

The phone has an IP64 rating, which means it can handle dust and light water splashes. Out of the box, it runs on Android 15 with Origin OS (for China).

Storage Options & Price

It offers four versions of the Vivo Y50 5G:

  • 4GB + 128GB – $165 (~PKR 47,000)

  • Higher versions go up to 12GB + 256GB – $316 (~PKR 89,000)

We don’t know yet when it will launch globally, but stay tuned for updates!
