Vivo Y50 5G Coming Soon – Budget 5G with Big Battery!

Vivo is getting ready to launch a new smartphone in China, called the Vivo Y50 5G. Another similar model, the Vivo Y50m 5G, was also spotted. Both phones share most of the same features, so they might just be made for different markets or come with different storage options.

Big Screen, But Lower Resolution

The Vivo Y50 5G has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen, but it only supports 720p resolution. It’s not the sharpest display, but it’s large and decent for everyday use.

Powered by Dimensity 6300

This phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip — the same one used in many budget 5G phones lately. It’s not super powerful, but it gets the job done for basic tasks and 5G connectivity.

Simple Cameras

Don’t expect top-tier camera quality here. The Y50 5G has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. Good enough for casual photos and video calls.

Lots of RAM and Storage Options

You’ll get many choices when it comes to memory:

  • 4GB + 128GB

  • 6GB + 128GB

  • 8GB + 256GB

  • 12GB + 256GB

It even supports SD cards, so you can expand your storage if needed.

Huge Battery + Fast Charging

One of the best things about the Y50 5G is its massive 6000mAh battery. It also supports 44W fast charging, so you won’t be stuck charging it for hours.

Pricing and Launch

The starting model (4GB + 128GB) is priced at 1,299 Yuan (~PKR 51,000). For an entry-level 5G phone, it’s a bit pricey, but you do get a long battery life and solid storage.

Launch Date: One of the Vivo Y50 5G or Y50m 5G models will launch in China on July 18. Stay tuned for more updates and reviews!
