Vivo is getting ready to launch a new phone – the Vivo Y400 5G. After releasing the Vivo Y400 Pro a few weeks ago, the brand is now working on the basic version. While the Vivo Y400 series hasn’t arrived in Pakistan yet, the Pro model is already selling in some Asian countries.
A new leak from 91Mobiles says the Vivo Y400 5G could launch in early August. It may come in two colors – Olive Green and Glam White. Vivo’s budget phones don’t usually offer many color choices, so these could be the only two.
The Vivo Y400 5G is rumored to feature an AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole design for the selfie camera. While the screen size and resolution are still unknown, the display sounds quite modern for a mid-range phone.
There are no images of the phone yet, but we do have an idea about its price. Since the Y400 Pro costs around $290, the regular Y400 might be priced at about $232, according to leaks.
We can expect the Vivo Y400 5G to have similar specs to the Pro version. The Pro features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, 1080p resolution, and up to 4500 nits brightness. It also comes with a Dimensity 7300 chip, 8GB RAM, and runs on Android 15. It even has an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance—but no screen protection.
For cameras, the Pro has a 50MP main camera and a 32MP selfie camera. It packs a 5500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, which is great for quick top-ups.
So far, it looks like the Vivo Y400 5G will be a great budget-friendly phone with impressive features. The official teasers could drop any day now, so stay tuned!
