Flip 7 vs Flip 8
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 feels like a normal phone when folded. But the Flip 7 is still thick at 13.7mm. The good news? Samsung is planning a thinner Flip 8 next year.
Big Thickness Drop
The Flip 8 could be only 9.5mm thick when folded. That’s about 30% thinner than the Flip 7! This is one of the biggest upgrades for the Z Flip series.
Same Big Screen
Even with the thinner design, the Flip 8 will keep its 6.9” AMOLED screen. So you get a sleek phone without losing screen space.
More Upgrades
Samsung may also improve brightness and cameras. Small changes, but they make a big difference.
Samsung’s Goal
Samsung wants to sell more foldables. They aim for 10% higher sales of Flip 8 and Fold 8 next year. Apple is already trying to compete with the iPhone fold.
What About Z Fold 8?
The Z Fold 8 might keep the same design as Fold 7. Samsung has almost perfected their big foldable phones.
TriFold and S26 Series
Samsung also showed the Galaxy TriFold at a Korean tech event. Fans got to see it hands-on. The launch is coming soon. They are also working on the Galaxy S26 series.
Samsung is clearly pushing the limits with foldable phones. Flip 8 looks thinner, lighter, and super pocket-friendly!
