Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Is Already in the Works – Coming Soon

Samsung is secretly getting ready for its next big launch – the Galaxy S26 series. And guess what? Two of the phones have already shown up in the GSMA database!

We’re talking about the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy S26 Edge. Their listings confirm that Samsung is not done with the “Edge” lineup just yet. The S25 Edge was the first, and now, the S26 Edge is on its way!

Model Numbers Revealed

The S26 Edge is listed with the model number SM-S947U.
The S26 Ultra has two versions:

  • SM-S948U – likely for the US

  • SM-S948N – likely for South Korea

We haven’t seen the base S26 or S26 Plus in the database yet, but they’re likely coming soon. Samsung usually releases all three models, so it’s only a matter of time.

What’s Special About the Edge?

The original S25 Edge was super slim – just 5.85mm thick. It looked cool but had a small battery, so not many people bought it. But Samsung is giving the Edge another chance with the S26 Edge.

This new model is expected to have:

  • A better processor

  • More battery efficiency

  • Possibly the new Exynos 2600 (2nm) chip

Dual Chip Strategy Returns

Samsung had some issues with chip supply this year. But next year, they plan to bring back the dual chip strategy. That means the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra will come with either:

  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite

  • Or the new Exynos 2600

One UI 8.5 Incoming

There are also early reports that the Galaxy S26 series will launch with One UI 8.5, Samsung’s latest software update.

Exciting times ahead for Galaxy fans! Stay tuned as more details roll in.
