Realme GT 8 Pro Now Launching Worldwide
Realme has officially released the GT 8 Pro globally, just a month after its debut in China. The international model carries the same powerful features, including the large battery and upgraded cameras.
A New Camera Experience With Ricoh
For the first time, Realme worked with the camera company Ricoh to improve mobile photography. The GT 8 Pro introduces a unique design where you can swap the camera plate’s appearance. While the look changes, the rear cameras stay the same.
The phone features a 200MP ISOCELL HP5 periscope telephoto lens with 3X zoom, a 50MP main camera, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The selfie camera also gets a boost to 32MP.
Bright and Smooth Display
The GT 8 Pro comes with a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display.
It has:
-
144Hz refresh rate
-
2K resolution
-
Peak brightness up to 7000 nits (local peak)
-
Around 2000 nits HBM, which is still very bright for daily use
Supercharged Performance
Inside, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
It reaches speeds up to 4.6GHz with Qualcomm’s powerful Oryan V3 cores. This means fast performance for gaming, apps, and daily tasks. Realme also includes NEXT AI, which uses the chip’s NPU for smarter features.
Massive Battery and Fast Charging
Just like the Chinese version, the global GT 8 Pro packs a 7000mAh battery.
Charging features include:
-
120W fast wired charging
-
50W wireless charging
The phone runs on Android 16 and has strong durability with an IP69 rating.
Price and Availability
The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs around $823 (~PKR 232,000). Realme will expand availability to more regions soon, so stay tuned for updates.
