Realme is getting ready to launch the GT 8 Pro globally this November! The phone was released in China last month, and now it’s set to make its way to other markets—starting with India.
The GT 8 Pro is packed with power and style. It comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, clocked up to 4.6GHz, making it one of the fastest phones in the world—possibly even beating Apple’s A19 Pro! The base model has 12GB RAM, while the top version goes up to 16GB for ultra-smooth performance.
Realme worked with Ricoh, a famous camera brand, to design the GT 8 Pro’s swappable camera module and fine-tune its imaging software. The rear camera setup includes a 200MP ISOCELL HP5 periscope lens with 3X optical zoom and OIS, a 50MP main camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, you get a 32MP selfie camera for stunning portraits.
The phone sports a huge 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for buttery-smooth visuals. It also supports a dynamic brightness of up to 7000 nits, perfect for HDR content, while usually staying around 2000 nits in normal use.
In China, the GT 8 Pro carries a 7000mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. However, the global model might come with a slightly smaller battery—just like the previous GT 7 Pro.
Realme has clearly gone all out with the GT 8 Pro—great for gamers, photographers, and power users alike. The official global launch date will be revealed soon, so stay tuned for more exciting updates!
