Xiaomi has surprised everyone. The Poco F8 Pro and P8 Ultra will launch globally on November 26.
Indonesia has already confirmed the date with an official teaser.
Earlier Than Expected
The Poco F7 series came out in March this year.
So the F8 family is arriving about four months early.
The first teasers appeared in Hong Kong, showing part of the design.
The leaked images were correct.
The phone has room for three camera lenses and a Bose speaker.
Poco F8 Pro on Geekbench
The Poco F8 Pro was spotted on Geekbench.
It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
This makes sense because the phone is believed to be a rebranded Redmi K90.
The tested model had 12GB RAM and Android 16.
It scored 2288 (single-core) and 8404 (multi-core).
These results match what we expect from the 4.32GHz Snapdragon 8 Elite.
This phone is Xiaomi’s new flagship, so expect top GPU and CPU performance.
Poco F8 Ultra Is Even Faster
The F8 Ultra was also tested on Geekbench.
It runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the fastest chip in its class.
It came with 16GB RAM.
Its scores reached 3451 (single-core) and 10666 (multi-core).
These numbers even beat Apple’s A19 Pro in performance tests.
Rebranded Redmi Phones
It is now very clear.
The Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra are basically the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max with new branding.
The Bose speakers shown in teasers confirm this.
So the hardware will be almost identical to their Chinese versions.
What About the Regular Poco F8?
The base Poco F8 might launch later.
There is no solid info yet.
Based on older patterns, it could be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 Pro.
But that phone has not launched in China, so we must wait.
More Updates Soon
We will cover the full Poco F8 series at launch.
Expect more teasers and leaks in the coming days.
The excitement is building!
