Honor Play 10 Launches as a Budget Phone

Honor has just launched a new budget smartphone — the Honor Play 10. After showing off the Play 10C with huge cameras, this one looks much more normal.

It runs on the lightweight Android 15 Go Edition, perfect for phones with lower specs. You’ll get a 5000mAh battery to keep it running all day.

Unlike the Play 10C, this model only supports 4G. It uses the Helio G81 chip, which is slower than the 5G chip in the 10C. It comes with either 3GB RAM and 64GB storage or 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The phone has a modern look with a small notch and slim bezels. But the screen is basic — a 6.74-inch TFT LCD, 720p resolution, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

On the back, there’s a 13MP camera that records in 1080p. On the front, you get a 5MP selfie camera in a U-shaped notch.

The phone is 8.55mm thick and has IP52 water resistance — helpful for light splashes. The 5000mAh battery is decent, but not special in 2025. It charges via USB-C with a 10W charger.

Honor added some nice extras for a budget phone: a side fingerprint sensor, 5GHz WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.1. It comes in Ocean Cyan, Starry Purple, and Midnight Black colors.

Honor hasn’t shared the price yet, but phones like this usually cost under $100. If you’re looking for a simple, affordable phone with the latest software, the Honor Play 10 is worth checking out!
