Galaxy A57 Appears on Geekbench Again
The Galaxy A57 has shown up on Geekbench for the second time. The first leak only revealed its OpenCL GPU score. Now we finally get to see its single-core and multi-core CPU performance. A well-known X (Twitter) leaker spotted the new listing.
Model and Software Details
The model number SM-A576B confirms this is the Galaxy A57. The phone in the test runs Android 16 and uses a chipset clocked at 2.91 GHz. Geekbench does not name the chip, but many people believe it is the Exynos 1680.
What We Know About the Exynos 1680
Not much was known about this chip before. Only the GPU appeared in an earlier test. Now Geekbench shows the chip has three CPU clusters:
-
3 small cores at 1.95 GHz
-
4 mid cores at 2.6 GHz
-
1 main core at 2.91 GHz
This may still be a test unit, but the scores are not very strong yet.
Performance Scores
The Exynos 1680 reaches:
-
1311 points in single-core
-
4347 points in multi-core
These numbers are a little better than the Galaxy A56, but still only mid-range performance. Samsung may need more tuning here.
Memory and Software Setup
The tested A57 had 12GB RAM, but an older OpenCL leak showed an 8GB RAM model too. The final phone is expected to launch with Android 16 and One UI 8.
Expected Launch Timeline
The Galaxy A57 is rumored to come out in March 2026. There is still plenty of time for Samsung to improve the chip and boost performance. More leaks are likely in the coming months.
